While the game has been beaten out by surprise Steam hit Gas Station Simulator, it's still currently one of the hottest titles around at the moment. Arkane has yet to comment on this issue, but it's likely that the developer could also address this in a future update. The director posted on Twitter saying that they were unhappy that the game is not compatible with on-screen keyboards, or voice recognition. AbleGamers' director has outed the studio over Deathloop's lack of accessibility for disabled gamers. However, there is still one major concern which has been mentioned recently. Overall, the game has been praised by the community and by critics, but these problems with the PC have soured the reputation somewhat. It can be assumed that this will also be a hotfix for the game.ĭEATHLOOP PC Stuttering Issue Update from In the Reddit post, the spokesperson, who goes by the alias MortalEmperor, did say that there will be some news following this current update with some information about a possible fix for the issues caused by framerate. The recommendation, in this regard, is for players to set the FPS to between 100 and 120 to reduce the problem. After conducting tests, some have concluded that Deathloop also stutters when the framerate is set too low. However, while this patch seems to fix the problem caused by mouse input, it doesn't fix the stuttering issues caused by something else.

The patch went live yesterday, and addresses the "stutter" problems, some of which have been attributed to mouse input and the camera movement causing jittering to occur during play. Posting to the Deathloop Subreddit yesterday, a spokesperson for Bethesda Softworks told the community that the company has listened to what the players have been saying, and have since updated the game. However, the studio has since addressed these concerns by releasing a hotfix which alleviates at least some of these stutters. The problem became such a thorn in people's sides that Deathloop ended up getting review bombed on Steam. However, there have been many people, particularly among the PC community, that have taken umbrage to the fact that the game has had some serious stuttering issues. Arkane Studio's Deathloophas been the talk of the town lately, with many praising the game's action and time loop mechanics.
